Starting from March 10th to March 16 was my first week interning with / assisting Mark Abrams. This first week has been full with practical knowledge in both social media marketing and music creation. Every day presented new perspectives and difficulties from refining social media strategies to mixing sessions. The week is broken out here:

Monday—Setting up

I met with Mark to discuss my responsibilities at the beginning of the week. This was a fantastic chance to set expectations, define my contribution, and lay a solid basis for the future work.

Tuesday—Mixing and Marketing

I was able to gain a lot of insight into Mark's workflow by sitting in on a meeting. It was also very neat to hear about Sprint Mixing for the first time, where you have to sit down for ten minutes and get a multitrack balanced with volume and panning from start to finish. I also gave ideas for social media that would thereby improve his online presence approach.

Wednesday—Studio Work & Vocal Tuning

I watched a mixing session in Mark's home studio and worked on social media ad campaigns. Making sure voices were polished and performance-ready defined one of my top priorities for tuning for coming mixes.

Thursday—All-Day Music & Industry Exposure

Thursday promised to be a busy day. I visited Mark's studio helping with social media ads and observed a mixing session including vocals that I tuned the day before. Later, we visited the Ohio HD Gear Show 2025 to learn about the newest gear of film technology. I finished the day tweaking vocals for next song in the evening from home.

Friday—Strategy and Intentions

Today was all about getting ready for upcoming mixing sessions and talking about social media plans for Mark's platform. We looked at ways to show his work with honesty and authenticity still intact.

Saturday—Social Media Strategy Meeting

To perfect and confirm social media strategies, I spoke with Mark's manager, Leslie Armour. We stayed true to Mark's brand and vision while concentrating on ways to improve engagement.

Sunday—Wrapping Up the Week

As the week came to a close, I listened to the next song that needed tuning and kept working on social media techniques. This was an excellent tool to assess progress and plan ahead.

This week overall strengthened the need of a carefully planned social media strategy as well as the balance between the technical and artistic sides of mixing. Looking forward to another week of growth and creativity!
